Families of premature babies at Addenbrookes NICU

My name is Holly Wilson, my daughter Bethany was born at 28 weeks (2.5 months premature). And with it being her birthday next week, me and my husband would like to do something to help others who are now in that position that we found ourselves in.
Addenbrookes can currently hold 40 babies in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) , but only have 8 accommodation rooms available for parents to use. A premature birth can cause parental stress, anxiety and uncertainty, and often means travelling and commuting from all over the country. On a daily basis this is an extra expense at such a difficult time (especially over Christmas).
We have decided to set up a “go fund me” page to help the families over the festive period with accommodation and travel expenses, and try to take a little bit of the financial burden away.
I will be putting the money directly towards accommodation and travel expenses for families in need. Please note this is done independently by myself.
