Families Not Orphanages

I'd love your support to assist the Kenyan community of Ndargwa to transition from orphanage-based care to family-based care, so that children will experience a loving connection that will help them to thrive. 

My involvement with the program centres on working with local agencies in developing skills, knowledge and systems to empower local communities to care for vulnerable children and is facilitated in collaboration with ACCI Relief.

Funds raised will go towards;

-Purchasing of training resources- picture cards, training packages

Development of tools for:
- Staff and family training modules
-Recruitment, assessment and training of Forever Families
-Case management systems
- Monitoring and Evaluation

-Support for children and families through the transition process
- Networking opportunities with Kenyan and Ugandan government and affiliated agencies
