Salam Alykom everyone! People in Lebanon are facing times of turmoil with the recent economic crisis. Recently, the Lebanese pound has dropped drastically, leaving many people below the poverty line. Fundamental rights that we all have, like proper nutrition, healthcare and education, have become a struggle for many. Can you imagine your child not being able to go to school because you can not afford to get them school supplies, transportation, uniforms or books? That is the case for many families in Lebanon. Helping to educate one person is an act of charity that continues even after your death; enlightening one soul will brighten your entire life and afterlife. Be a reason for a child to be able to go to school and make a difference in this world. One small donation can make a big difference!
