Families affected by cancer
Hello I’m Jo-Ann and tomorrow I get to take part in a sponsored walk for Daisy Lodge ( cancer fund for children) along with my wonderful work colleagues and all the kiddies. This charity has been a wonderful support to my beautiful niece Aisling Alexandra and her partner Marc Feenan who was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Life has been a struggle since Marc's diagnosis. Daisy lodge offered them a beautiful weekend retreat away to get some much needed time out. They are continuing to be a support to them through this very hard time. I can't thank my work colleagues enough for choosing this charity and for getting behind Ash and Marc and their beautiful children. Thank you all who have donated, we are truly grateful.xx
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of The Cancer Fund for Children and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about The Cancer Fund for Children: Every week in Northern Ireland, another three children, teenagers or young adults are diagnosed with cancer. We help these children and their families through practical and emotional support at home, in the community and on the hospital ward as well as at our therapeutic short breaks facility Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co Down. We also support the whole family, as well as young people coming to terms with a parental diagnosis of cancer and bereaved families.
