We are raising money for a local organisation 'Women Up North' based in Lismore through a read-a-thon on September 27th. From 7 PM to 7 AM, a group of us will be staying up, reading books, and collecting donations for the cause. 100% of the money raised will go directly to the charity via GoFundMe, no middlemen, just full transparency.

Women Up North is a Northern NSW service for women, children and young people who have experienced domestic, family violence or abuse. They have been providing support services and assisting with finding housing to Lismore and surrounding communities for more than 30 years.

How your donation make an impact:

$350 - Gives a woman her first safe night in years. A warm bed, locked door and a sense of safety.

$500 - Protects a mother and her children for two nights. You’re giving them time to breathe, and to make a plan and begin again.

$ 1,200 - Prevents a family from becoming homeless. You pay the rent when there is no one else to help, and give children the chance to stay in school and feel safe.

$ 2,500 - Provides emergency support for five families fleeing abuse. Food, transport, safety planning and crisis care – all made possible by you.
