Falkirk Skatepark Community day and Maintenance

Hello. We are the Falkirk Skatepark Collective, a group of passionate skaters, artists, creatives, parents, and promoters excited to use our skills in collaboration to protect, maintain, and care for our beloved Falkirk skate park and the surrounding community.

As a collective, we adopted the annual skate jam last year to celebrate the park's 20th anniversary. We were blown away by the community's support in helping us transform the park, which was entirely funded by our efforts, sponsors' help, and the kindness of others in the local community, with very little help offered by our council or government. This year, we’re asking for donations from the locals who use the park and the wider community to help maintain our Local skatepark and hold an excellent community day.

With the funds raised, we aim to repair the ramps and concrete, hire equipment for garden maintenance, organise clean-up days, purchase paint to allow local artists to showcase their creative skills at the skatepark and hold our annual 2025 Falkirk Skate Jam - Community Day.

In the future, we aim to improve the park further by tackling larger issues like improving lighting, tackling vandalism, and changing how the broader community views the skatepark. We also aim to expand the sports facilities and improve access and use of the skatepark.

As a collective, we want to act with complete financial transparency. We do it because we genuinely love and care about the local Falkirk skatepark, not for any profit. This means all the money raised goes to the skatepark's repair and maintenance and the running of the annual skate jam; any leftover funds will go towards future maintenance and events. A financial record can be provided on request.

We sincerely appreciate any support and look forward to an epic summer season at Falkirk Skatepark.
