8 month old Faith was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive tumor and will be undergoing her 4th round of chemo at Children’s Hospital, mid December. Unfortunately this type of tumor doesn’t always respond to chemo. Her oncologist believes it is worth a try to see if chemo will shrink the large tumor in her liver which will hopefully relieve some pressure on her lungs. Parents, Ryan and Katie are unsure how much time they have left with their precious baby. It will all depend how the chemo goes. They will be at BC Children’s Hospital for the coming months.

There are truly no words to describe the heartbreak and devastation. Ryan & Katie will be spending every second they have with Faith, loving her with everything they have for whatever time they have left.

Despite the devastating news this little family are choosing to create precious moments wherever possible. Dressing her as a pumpkin for Halloween, a day trip to the Vancouver Aquarium and another to see the Christmas lights at VanDusen.

For Faiths first Christmas our family friend Clair Rockel has generously dedicated her Little Christmas fundraising tradition to raising money to create whatever special Christmas memories, this sweet family can. Thank you for being apart of their journey and adding light in this time of darkness.
