There are moments when faith is all we have left to hold onto. For our family, this is one of those times. Our daughter Lexi faces daily challenges from both mental and physical disabilities, and her needs have shaped every part of our lives. Recently, we had to move to a different apartment because our old home could no longer meet Lexi’s physical demands. The new place is safer for her, but it comes at a higher cost—stretching our finances even thinner when we’re already struggling to keep up with medical bills, rent, utilities, and groceries.
My husband works every hour he can, and I’ve been searching desperately for a new job after losing mine for standing up for what’s right. I’ve filled out over 100 applications and gone to interviews, but doors keep closing. Every day, I pray for a breakthrough, but the weight of watching Lexi need so much and not being able to provide it on my own is heartbreaking. We’ve used up our savings, reached out to family, and leaned on every resource we can find, but we’re still falling behind. Even getting Lexi to her doctor appointments, my husband to work, and myself to job interviews is a struggle because of transportation costs.
We are grateful for the support of Our God Christian Church, but right now, we need help from anyone who can offer it. Every donation, no matter how small, is a lifeline for Lexi and a reminder that we’re not alone. If you can’t give, please share our story or keep us in your prayers. Your kindness and compassion are what keep us going. Thank you for standing with us in this season of need.
