Hi, I’m Glennette Nelson—writer, director, and survivor.

I’m producing a powerful stage play called Some Hurts Are Beyond Tears, and we’re bringing it to the Fort Worth stage on January 31, 2026. This isn’t just a production—it’s a purpose.

This story is raw, real, and rooted in the trauma so many of us carry in silence: abandonment, childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, and emotional pain that doesn’t just disappear with time. This play is a voice for survivors who never got to tell their stories… until now.

Why This Play Matters

Some Hurts Are Beyond Tears follows Latrice, a woman struggling to make peace with a past full of pain—rape, foster care, teen motherhood, and toxic relationships. But it’s not just her story. It’s our story—for every person who has survived the unimaginable and is still trying to heal.

This play aims to:

• Raise awareness around abuse, trauma, and mental health

• Create space for healing and honest conversation

• Remind us all that we’re not alone—and that God still has purpose in our pain

We’re applying for grants, but we need early support to cover upfront costs:
