We are reaching out during one of the most heartbreaking and uncertain times our family has ever faced. Our beloved Tonya Bates recently suffered a sudden and devastating brain aneurysm. She is currently in critical condition, and as we wait and pray, we are also preparing for what lies ahead.

Tonya is a woman who has there for her family —whether through her sense of humor, or simply her steady presence. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel like family, even if you’ve only just met her. Her heart for others has always been evident, and now she needs that same love and care in return.

Unfortunately, Tonya did not have medical insurance, and the financial strain of emergency care, ongoing medical needs, and possible end-of-life arrangements is heavy on our family. We are humbly asking for any support—whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this page—to help us carry this burden together.
