Faith, Family, Freedom... HELP A ROSE CONTINUE TO BLOOM

For those of you who have been following my journey since 2018, you know it hasn't been easy. I've faced many many challenges, but I've always persevered in hopes that by sharing my journey, I inspire others to never give up!

A ROSE CALLED CANDACE is more than just a show. It is purpose. It is ministry. It has been the thing that has kept me in the darkest moments of my life. Always reminding me that all the pain, heartache, trauma one endures, although difficult, it is necessary as there is someone, somewhere in the world who needs to know they are not alone.

It has not always been easy to bare my soul on the stage, sharing the most vulnerable and intimate details of my life. But I have discovered that my vulnerability is my superpower. When we are vulnerable, transparent and authentic about our journey, that's when transformation happens. That's when true freedom can be attained.

I don't know what's next for me, for A ROSE. But I have surrendered and will follow the doors that God opens for me to tell my story. Life continues to LIFE but I can't give up. Not just for me... but all the roses who are ready to plant their seed, tell their story and BLOOM.

We all know the term “starving artist” is not a myth. So any amount God places on your heart to donate will help me in my journey to not only continue performing a show that has inspired so many; but help cover the bare necessities needed to survive as an artist.
