Dreamworm: Traveling Mutual Aid Kitchen

Donation protected
Pre- script: Thanks to everyone who supported so far, and sorry we disappeared for a couple weeks. Jay had a death in family and our time schedule has been moved to April to give them time to process and plan the funeral.

What we're doing: building a "traveling mutual aid kitchen" to help where help is needed.

Our mission: Mutual aid.
We will go where help is needed. Priotizing invites from the Indigenous led environmental movement, (we believe, as members of the human race and inhabitants of our beautiful Mother Earth, our lives are in danger; that the planets best chance lie with those who respect nature enough to write it into their enfocable treaties). We recognize that all struggles are connected. We will do our best to help wherever we are, and to be open to accountability to our mistakes.

Goal: We found the perfect bus, priced cheap by a personal friend who can't keep it parked where it is anymore. Ready to live in today, with enough left to do to make it our own (mostly a paint job and shelves)

It's has:
6000WH solar power storage
400W of solar panels
A USB powered sink
A Copilots chair so we can sit next to other while driving.
A Composting toilet
A fridge
Jay and I already have a flat top grill, and portable pizza oven that we can set up outside among the people, or in the bus if the weather isn't permitting.

"Feel the fear, and do it anyways!" Every bit helps: we know how to survive with nothing (and how to keep ourselves mobile on the road); however, we've seen what can be accomplished when we support each other.

P.s. The work we do is varried, and depends on what is asked of us. We arrive ready to hold space, to help transport people, to disrupt injustice, to mend, to plant, to build and create. But first, and most importantly, to listen. I find the best conversations happen around a good meal, cooked with love.
