Rica Ruiz volunteers at Fair Oaks Elementary in Redwood City at their reading program. It is an under-resourced school in which most of the families live under the poverty line. This school, along with 5 others, will be closing next school year due to low enrollment.

There are currently 220 students enrolled at Fair Oaks and it is our hope to bless each child and their families with TWO gift cards by the end of the school year to help with their basic necessities. We are asking that you consider donating funds for gift cards which will be purchased in increments of $25 to stores like Target, Safeway, Walgreens, or Old Navy.  

In an effort to making giving as easy as possible we have set up this GoFundMe page which will enable us to turn your donations into gift cards for our often forgotten neighbors. We will be collecting donations until the end of May. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
