Our family is currently facing an unimaginable situation involving my sister, a devoted mother, a tireless provider, and a woman whose life has always centered around caring for others, especially her two daughters.

My sister is not a violent person. She is a 4’11”, soft spoken woman who worked day and night to make sure her children were safe, loved, and supported. Anyone who truly knows her knows that harming someone is not in her nature.

She is now incarcerated following a tragic domestic violence situation that escalated beyond what anyone could have imagined. For a long time, she endured abuse quietly. Like many survivors, leaving was not simple. It was a process she was actively trying to navigate. She loved her partner, even while experiencing harm, and was doing her best to find a safe way out. Tragically, she never got the time she needed.

This fundraiser is not about justifying violence. It is about ensuring fair legal representation for a woman who deserves to have her full story heard. Everyone deserves due process, especially when their freedom and future are at stake.

We are asking for support to help cover the cost of a qualified attorney and related legal expenses so my sister can receive proper representation in court. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward legal fees during this incredibly difficult time.
