MINT Renewables are planning to install one of NSWs largest Solar Farm/BESS array in the Mount Fairy - the project is called Magpie Hill. The development is being assessed by the NSW government as a State Significant development.

Fair Go for Mount Fairy is a community group challenging the development as we believe it will irrevocably damage our rural landscape, quality of life and property value. Given the parallel works in progress on Blind Creek solar Farm and Boro Solar Farm we also believe this is not in the best interests of the people of NSW and 8% of all homes in NSW will be supplied power from a 30KM radius of Mount Fairy which is a big resilience risk especially with bushfire.

The funds are being raised to allow us to effectively engage in challenging the proposed development. Funds raised will go towards engaging independent experts and raising public awareness of the local issues.
