As many may know, our beloved Tonga was devastated by a volcanic eruption and tsunami over the weekend, leaving long-lasting catastrophic damage. This relief effort is to support our family and their surrounding communities in Tonga as we know the need for supplies and assistance will be tremendous. As of this post, we are still without phone/internet communications; relying on news outlets to keep us informed and hopeful.
Fainga'a and Tukia families live throughout the main island of Tongatapu and on outer islands of Ha'apai. Tonga is their home. Our home. Home to our parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tongans are people of profound faith and strength; please continue praying for their safety and recovery.
All funds raised will be allocated to assist with damaged infrastructure, lost/damaged belongings and most importantly food and water.
‘Oku mau ‘ofa lahi atu ki he famili kotoa i Tonga pea mo e lotu hufia i he faingatamaki kuo tofanga ai e fonua.
(Sending our love and prayers to our family in Tonga during this tough time)
