COVID-19 3D Printed Face Shields

These face shields were created for donation to hospitals and health care workers. Designed by Prusa, these shields are easily assembled and easily cleaned. After discovering a family member was working directly with a patient being treated for COVID-19, I felt more inclined than ever to help them out. I was successfully able to create 16 full face shields over the course of 7 days to send to their hospital for distribution. I would like to continue making these shields to disburse where ever needed but unfortunately I have depleted my supply of 3D printer filament. A 1 kilogram roll of filament will create roughly 16 of these face shields with each roll averaging $30. The other materials used is laminator film which acts as the main shield, costing $10 for a pack of 50. Your support is greatly valued and benefits those who use these shields.
