FaceShields for Germany and the World

We are a small group from Würzburg (students and independent makers). We have been working on making and distributing 3D printed FaceShields for our community’s frontline workers since the end of March. We have received a lot of positive feedback from our medical community.
Now we are facing a bigger project and we need your help to make it into a reality. The frontline workers in Ethiopia are in desperate need of face covering equipment to be able to handle patients. Currently there is no way for them to make their own FaceShields, therefore the consulate of Ethiopia reached out to ask for our help.
All of these masks will be donated to the consulate who will make sure that they arrive to the places where they are needed the most.
If we are able to meet our goal of 6000 euros we will be able to produce 1500 shields. From our experience for every shields that we can produce, the Maker network will be donating one shield. If this campaign is successful we could be getting a donation of 1500 more shields, which will also be given to the embassy.
