Face Shields for our Healthcare Heroes! #COVID-19

For the cost of a cup of coffee, you have the opportunity to save our healthcare heroes. It costs $5 per face shield and $50 can help make 10 shields for 10 healthcare heroes.
I am Aditya Jaiswal, a junior at Archbishop Mitty High School. I have been part of Maker Nexus for the past year and have used their outstanding facility multiple times. I have immense pride for the people who work there and I know their drive to help society. At this time of crisis, I have partnered with Maker Nexus to raise funds, which will enable them to make face shields, buy filaments for the printer, injection mold parts, buy sheets of plastic, and procure more 3D printers to increase production capacity. It is incredible to see Maker Nexus using their equipment for such an important cause.
Currently, our healthcare system lacks the necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to keep the doctors safe to treat the patients. Maker Nexus has already delivered 11,252 shields to local hospitals and is currently making 500 a day.
Our goal of $5000 will be used to make 1000 shields and help 1000 of the healthcare workers at the frontlines of this pandemic. It is time to act and we MUST act quickly.
