On the morning of July 29th, my boyfriend Fabio went for his scheduled appointment at the homeland security office in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was allowed one phone call where he informed me that he had been detained by immigration officers. These officers told him he would be transferred to Georgia to await an immigration hearing. He has a valid work permit and no criminal record. I have hired an attorney who specializes in immigration law. Any money donated will cover the lawyer fees and if there is any possibility of a bond, I would use the money for that as well. It has not even been 24 hours so this is all I know for now. I will keep this page updated. I had become accustomed to being alone until I met Fabio, so I will never stop fighting for him. I cannot thank you all enough for your support during this time.
