Hello,
My name is Madeleine and this is a fundraising for my super brave 6 year old Aubrey.
On the 6th of April 2025 we were rushed in to our local hospital due to Aubrey being covered head to toe in spots and throwing up blood. While at our local we were told the deverstating news that Aubrey has BCell ALL Lukemia this has completely rocked our whole world and sent it spinning.
We were in great ormand street from the 6th April due to how bad Aubrey was due to sepsis and staf and other infections. We did 2 and a half weeks up in PICU and then were moved to a ward. During that time we have had the new that it is curable and they have all hope she will be cured. We then did 4 weeks on ward. After along 6 and half weeks we finally went home. Aubrey has weekly trips to hospital for chemo and has been on multiple medications through out her journey.
This brave little girl has smashed everything that has come her way she's the bravest person I have ever met and I'm so proud to be her mum.
We are looking to fundraise to be able to create some treats for aubrey as the girl deserves them after the year she has had. And also to put some money away to decorate aubreys new room when we move. Due to needing her own room so she can isolate when needed to protect herself and also needing a safe space that is just hers she can go to and just relax. We want aubrey to be able to decorate how ever she wants to so she knows and feels proud of her own space.
Thank you all for your time and thank you to any donations we can't thank you all enough.
Update!!
We are so greatful to each and everyone of your donations ❤️ Thank you all so much. Aubrey is beyond excited to have her own room as soon as we get a new home. She sends a huge thank you to everyone and can't wait to create her own pokemon / harry potter bedroom with a fairy door so the fairy's can come vist her.
UPDATE!
Aubrey has been smashing her journey so far. We are now in to maintenance which means less appointments and more time to enjoy being a kid again!! She has an appointment once a month at the local hospital and once every 3 months at Great Ormand Street, and we do at home chemo which we give her. She's been doing amazing a few hospital stays here and there but she's been enjoying the freedom of less hospital! She's about to go back to school in to year 3 and cannot wait! She smashed year 2 even though she missed so much, she's such a smart kid! We couldn't be more proud! We are still waiting on the house and that should be ready soon! She's very excited to design and decorate her new room! We've used some of the money already to purchase some brand new furniture for her new room! We can't thank everyone enough for the love and support you have all shown us!
