In August of 2024 my mother, Linda R. Gonzales went into a coma caused by her uncontrollable Type 1 Diabetes. Due to her chronic illness mom has been unable to work. She has lost her job, apartment, insurance, diginity and hope due to her lifelong battle with Diabetes. I am Jovoni, her eldest daughter. Myself, along with my siblings, Jenika and Sebastian, have watched our mom suffer trying to get back on her feet. She has reached out to every possible organization in Grand Rapids, MI for help just to get denied. I have decided to move her to Lansing, MI where I can be a close support. It is not easy to ask for help, but we are hopeful someone somewhere can spare a little. My mother is only 58 years old, she deserves a better life than the one she has been dealt. Our goal is to raise enough money to provide shelter, transportation, and cover medication while we get her situated to a new city, new doctors, and a new beginning. Please consider donating.
