Beautiful Baby Ava was born on December 5th to my friend's April and Brandon.  She also has a big brother, Michael.  April and Brandon like all parents hoped for a healthy baby girl, but unfortunately April ended up being rushed in to the hospital to get an emergency C-section due to Ava being in a bad position in the womb.

Ava then spent 40 days in the NICU.   It seemed every time the doctors came to update them on her condition they had more bad news.  Ava developed cricopharyngeal baron and has issues eating without aspirating, so she had to undergo surgery to insert a Gtube into her stomach so she could can get enough nutrients.  In addition to that, she was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease and genetic abnormalities.

April, Brandon and Ava have a long and expensive road ahead of them. Ava has to be under the care of a Neurologist, ENT, GI doctor, Cardiologist, Genetics doctor and Pediatrician. Only Brandon and April can feed her , so one of them always has to be home. Brandon is in an apprentice program to get a better future career, which leaves April as the main income generator for their family and she has had to take a lot of time off of work and will continue to have to, to get Ava to appointments and care for her. 

April and Brandon  are struggling so much just dealing with all of this scary news, but also to  keep the electric on, put food on the table and to pay all of the medical bills. 

April, Brandon and Ava are in need of financial help. I would not normally ask, but these are wonderful people who are going through more than any parent should have to go through. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
