Hello, my name is Ezra Rowe, I'm a Life Scout in Troop 407, Claremont, CA.

I am raising funds to help pay for my Eagle Scout project.

The purpose of my Eagle Scout project is to design, make, and install "Interpretative Signs" for a local nature center & animal sanctuary to educate visitors about the animals residing in the sanctuary - the San Dimas Canyon Nature Center is a chapter of the County of Los Angeles Nature Center Associates, a nonprofit organization operated by volunteers. It is part of the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation.

The Nature Center looks after several rescue animals that can not be re-released into the wild, ranging from deer to hawks. Currently the enclosures in the animal sanctuary have no informational signs for visitors to learn about the animals and surrounding wildlife such as plants. I will work in coordination with the Nature Center officials, a professional sign manufacturer, Scouts, and family members - the project will involve multiple phases to research, design, make, and install the "Interpretative Signs" so that visitors can learn about the animals and plants.

There are 10 signs to design and make for various animals enclosures and plants.

--$350 to sponsor one of the signs
