As you all know, Corey Ireland was taken to Roper Hospital by ambulance after his wife, Ashley found him unresponsive in their bed just before dinner Saturday night, August 1st. He was rushed to Roper hospital and flown by helicopter to Roper St Francis in Charleston. He was not breathing on his own, and had to be placed on a ventilator amongst many other machines to keep his body going. His body was unable to make any progress through Sunday and into Monday.

Monday morning, the doctors discovered that the swelling of his brain had only increased. They then began to take him off of the sedatives to see if his body would attempt to operate on its own. Sadly, he had hardly any bodily function without the machines. Corey Ireland passed away Monday August 3 2015 at 1:20pm with an enormous amount of family and friends by his side. He is survived by wife, Ashley Ireland and 4 month old son, Corey Ireland JR.

Tragically, Corey and Ashley recently started new jobs and were not employed long enough to recieve insurance from their new jobs. This fundraiser is to help Ashley with the medical and everyday expenses that it requires to raise a newborn.  She and baby CJ need any and all the financial help we can give her. Any little bit helps, dont think for a second that only a few dollars wont make a difference. All money will go straight to Ashley to relieve the financial burden that they are facing.
