Hi, my name is Shelly and God has blessed me with a heart for India and a desire to serve the orphan child, especially those with special needs.  

My hearts desire is to return to India in February 2015 to volunteer at  Sarah's Covenant Homes  where I sponsor a child named Patrick.  I previously sponsored Ruby who has now been adopted.  SCH  cares for over 120 children in several family style homes through volunteers/foster mom's.  They include the local widows in their employment to act as ayah's (caregivers/ grandmothers) to the children.  I urge you to visit their website to get to know them better.

The plan is to spend six weeks at SCH volunteering/co-fostering in Hyderabad, India.  I will get a job description in December and will update you periodically as things progress.

I will also be able to visit Manoj, an 8 -9 year old who I met on a previous trip.  Many of you know the story.  Manoj has a very special place in my heart and I can't wait to see him again.

Please join me in this journey by praying for God's total provision, good health, and complete peace.  My goal is to raise $3,000.00 to cover all the expenses of the six week trip including airfare, room and board.
