College Student in need of Help After Auto Theft

Hello, My name is Dana and I’m fundraising for my boyfriend Derrick Thomas (Jr). He was victimized late at night on April 27, 2022. He left his car running while he quickly grabbed something out of his apartment complex around 7pm and someone came and stole the car. The offender completely sped out of the complex when Jr’s stepdad (Justin) noticed pulling in. He sped off and took all of Jr’s belongings from work clothes, shoes, personal items and destroying it. He threw the bag out of the car scattered throughout a street. When the offender was faced with police, they sped off and slammed into a house. They tried to reverse and completely destroyed the car totaling it. Jr spent $1500 April 26th on the car to fix previous problems at the shop and now it is completely down the drain. He is a college student, working full time paying his way through and this was his only means of transportation. I am asking for help on his behalf to get back on his feet and get something to get him back and forth to work to still obtain his goal of his degree. Anything helps and we are extremely grateful no one was injured in the process. He is extremely grateful for any donations or shares.
