Hurricane Melissa, a category 5 storm, has left Jamaica and, by extension, my family back home devastated. The storm has passed over the island, but we are left with our lives to start over. We are thankful.

I am Keith Parker, and my family back home in Jamaica depends on myself and my sister for support. The storm has left in its wake, catastrophic destruction of my home. My family was impacted, and I am now seeking any help from you that can help them get back up from this disaster.

Any help is appreciated, and nothing is too small.

I am reminded how small our world becomes when faced with challenges like these. I want to take this opportunity to remind my family that the world may not be too large to care for small crises.
