Fighting Infertility

1 in 8 couples suffer from infertility.

If you have the unfortunate luck of falling into that statistic, you know what absolute HELL infertility is. As someone who was once trapped in that hell, I know how lucky I am to have found my happy ending. Now I want the same for my brother and sister-in-law.

For the last two years, Chris and Melanie have been in the endless, exhausting cycle that infertility brings with it. Shortly before their son, Oliver, turned two, they made the exciting decision to expand their family. After trying to conceive for a few months, they were ecstatic when they became pregnant. Unfortunately, the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. After follow-up appointments, they began the route of fertility treatments.  To date, they have done 7 IUI cycles and 3 IVF cycles. Sadly, none were successful. During the summer of 2020, they did conceive naturally, but, once again, that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. To say they are heartbroken is an understatement.

For those going through fertility treatments, there is always the knowledge in the back of your mind that there is a limit to how many cycles your insurance will cover. Devastatingly, Chris and Melanie have reached that limit. Their insurance will no longer help them fight to make their dream a reality.

I am asking for help to make their dream come true. I am asking for help to give Oliver a sibling that he would be the BEST big brother to. I am asking for help to prove that hope is not lost. I am asking for help to HEAL their hearts.

Any money contributed will go directly towards aiding Chris and Melanie in expanding their family. This could either be in the form of further fertility treatments or towards adoption. Whatever they choose, you can be guaranteed that your donations will be used in an effort to give a baby to a family that will love them unconditionally.
