The Chelsea Spotlight – Good News the Old-Fashioned Way

Attention, fellow appreciators of Chelsea, VT: we could use your help! A few of us in town felt it was high time for a good old-fashioned hard-copy (and online!) acknowledgment and celebration of where we live, who we are, and what’s happening in this place we all call home. Reader donations, combined with fundraising efforts throughout the year, make it possible for us to continue getting the Chelsea Spotlight to every community member, regardless of internet status or technological savvy.

The Chelsea Spotlight is now a registered 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization, EIN # 88-3454954. The even bigger news is that in March of 2023, the Chelsea Spotlight received an anonymous $10,000 matching grant, so your donation will support the newsletter twice as much! The new goal amount posted above reflects the remaining amount needed to meet this generous match.

Community members far and wide have shown generous support for the newsletter since its inception in May 2022 -- with ideas, content, donations, and appreciation for each quarterly issue. This is truly a community endeavor. Chelsea thanks you for your part in it!
