Sydney is the beautiful daughter of our friends, Jess and Will. At just 13 months old, Sydney has been diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS), a type of cancer that forms in your body's soft and connective tissue.
The family needs your help!
Baby Sydney was diagnosed on August 3 after an infection in her abdomen required surgery at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. Physicians and providers at the Orlando Health hospital performed a routine surgery and found a tumor that needed immediate attention and additional testing.
Jess, Will and her siblings, Taj and Alana, have been traveling to Winnie Palmer to be with Sydney every step of the way. Sydney is a trooper. If you are following the family on Instagram you will see images of their struggle... but Sydney always has a smile.
Sydney will begin her treatment plan with chemo and eventually daily radiation. The costs of treatment, transportation and home life certainly adds up. Because of Sydney's age, Jess and Will are unable to work while staying in Orlando for treatments! 100% of donations will go directly to the family to continue to support these efforts.
