Help Fund our Unexpected Move

Hi I’m Kayla and this is my family. Adam is my fiance and Aria is our 5 year old daughter who just started kindergarten. We are going through a tough time financially right now and just found out we have to move out of our apartment by the end of January. We have been struggling to make ends meet for a long time now due to multiple things. It started 2 years ago when Adam had 5 seizures within a week for the first time in his life and it ended up with him losing his state job because of not being able to perform the job anymore. He got a new state job last year and was wrongfully terminated and there’s nothing we can do about it. He has an open disability case due to his severe panic and anxiety disorders and does not drive since the seizures. He has no income at the moment and we’ve been trying to get him on unemployment for a few months and they just keep requesting more information that we’ve given them and still have no answer of the determination. I’m not the type of person to air my business or ask for help… but we need it now more than ever. We have nothing saved up, and I live paycheck to paycheck. This has caused us to fall behind on rent and other bills. Unfortunately, I don’t make enough money to pay all of our bills fully. I know everyone is struggling with their own stuff and I understand if you want to help but can’t. I love helping people and I understand how it feels to want to help and not be able to. And that’s okay. At this point I just feel desperate, I want to give our daughter the life she deserves and I don’t want her to see us struggle so hard to stay afloat. We live in Watervliet, and this is where we want to stay because she loves her teacher and friends at school. This is our home. Aria was also born with a couple conditions called Ectrodactyly (split hand with missing digit) and Cleft foot which is a rare birth defect that caused her feet to develop improperly. Due to this she has a deep V shape on both of her feet and is missing 3 toes, but the toes she does have are fused together. I just want to give her the best life possible and I feel like I am currently unable to do that in our situation. I don’t expect help from anyone, and if you can help and choose to, please know it is deeply appreciated and I’ll forever remember the positive impact you’ve made in our life. The funds raised will go towards current bills that we are behind on and the rest will be going to moving expenses (application fees, u-haul, security deposit, and rent) I would also like to add that I have applied for public assistance and SNAP, but the public assistance was not approved. I was approved for SNAP but have yet to receive a card. Thank you all for being here!
