Hi friends and family. It is with great sadness and a heavy heart, I write this on behalf of my family.

On April 12th, 2023, Melvin passed away from stage 4 lung cancer. The cancer had spread so rapidly, and took him before receiving radiation treatment. Melvin was a loving husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, and loyal friend to anyone who has had the privilege of knowing him.

This fund will go towards final expenses, cremation costs, and supporting our mother who has been caring for our dad full-time. We know times are tough for many people, so anything helps.

In the 60 years Melvin was alive, he had touched many hearts and changed many people’s lives. He had an incredibly good sense of humor, positive attitude, silly antics, and a kind heart. Melvin was a strong, selfless man who faced hardships with a smile on his face. He didn’t have much, but would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

On behalf of my family, I would like to thank everyone who has offered their love and prayers as we undertake this incredibly difficult journey of grief and healing. Stay safe, take care of each other, and keep loving on everyone who loves you.
