Eynsham Community Larder Christmas Boxes 2021
Eynsham Community Larder was established in Spring 2020 to help residents of Eynsham and its surrounding villages weather the economic challenges presented by the Coronavirus crisis. Thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses, and volunteers, as well as some successful grant applications, the Larder now supplies around 40 local households with weekly food boxes.
With your help, in 2020 we were also able to give Eynsham Vouchers (to spend in Eynsham's excellent independent food shops, pubs and eateries), Curiosity Boxes, Amazon Vouchers and other children’s gifts to each of the households supported by the larder, as well as an additional box of Christmas snacks, treats, and essentials - including everything from pies and puddings to cakes, crackers, crisps, chocolates, and cards.
We would love to make sure that the adults and children currently benefitting from the Larder's regular service (and anyone else identified as in real need in our community) again receive some extra support to make Christmas as merry as possible.
Any surplus funding will be ploughed back into the regular Eynsham Community Larder (a collaboration between Eynsham Heroes and Eynsham Baptist Church. Treasurer: Bob Thiele).
Thanks in advance for your generous donations. Your help is greatly appreciated.
