Extend a Hand to the Joshi Family

Fundraising Appeal for the Family of Tika Ram Joshi (TR Joshi), younger brother of our respected priest Jagdish Ji Joshi (Hindu Jain Temple, Pittsburgh)

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Supporters,

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we share the tragic and untimely passing of Tika Ram Joshi (TR Joshi), younger brother of Jagdish Ji Joshi (priest at Hindu Jain Temple, Pittsburgh). At the age of 43, he was taken from the family far too soon in a devastating car accident. His loss is a crushing blow to entire Joshi family.

Tika Ram, or TR Joshi as he was lovingly called , was a simple man with a big heart. He lived in a small village in the serene and remote region of Champawat in Uttarakhand. Despite the many challenges he faced due to limited education and resources, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family. His love and dedication to his wife, Vidya Joshi, and their four children — Ashish, Daya, Priya, and Bhawana — were the pillars of his life.

In the wake of his sudden passing, his family is left with overwhelming grief and financial uncertainty. His children are still in school and college, and their future now feels uncertain without the support of their father. The family has already been struggling to make ends meet, and now, they face the added burden of Tika Ram’s tragic absence.

Jagdish Ji, too, deeply affected by this loss. Jagdish ji has his own growing children and elderly parents who depend on him, and have been sending whatever support he can from the US. But this situation is beyond what any of them could have imagined. The family is witnessing a frightening reality that they were not prepared for.

Why We Need Your Help:

The loss of TR Joshi has not only left an emotional void, but it has also left a financial gap that is difficult to bridge. His children, who were still in school and college, now face an uncertain future. The family urgently needs help with:

• Educational expenses for his four young children, who are now left without their father’s support.

• Daily living expenses as they try to rebuild their lives in the wake of this tragedy.
