Dear friends, family and community,

As many of you know, Shawn was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma cancer in November. Recently he had a seizure that resulted in the loss of function in his brain. He went from making sarcastic remarks to only one to two word sentences to now being unable to speak.

Shawn was put on hospice on April 12th. We’re extremely thankful for what hospice has done for Shawn. He is currently comfortable at home. His fight with cancer is coming to an end, and our family is struggling to come up with money. 

If you know Shawn and his family, you know we are independent and how we dislike asking for help. But at this time, we really need your help, as well as prayers sent our way.

We are grateful for anything you could do. However small it is, we are very thankful.
