Izzy's Angels

UPDATE:  Per the family's request, I am revising this page as a memorial account that feeds directly into the Izzy Rose Memorial Account set up with Wells Fargo.  Money from this account will now be used to help other children in need in Izzy's honor.  Izzy was such a blessing to us and we know her life was for a purpose.  This account is one way we intend to honor and celebrate her through helping others.  Any donation you feel led to give is a blessing and greatly appreciated!

A facebook group has also been created in Izzy's honor, please follow this page for photos and updates as the family shares their hearts and love for their angle baby.

*********

My sweet friend Alicia Wilson and her husband James Wilson lost their 4 week old baby girl, Elizabeth "Izzy" Rose Wilson, early Thursday morning.  Izzy's passing was completed unexpected.  At current we believe the cause to be SIDS, but are awaiting results from the autopsy.  The loss is unbearable.  We are all completely devastated.  Izzy was a such a gift! The princess that Alicia and James prayed and longed for.  She will forever be loved beyond measure.  Even those of us who never got the chance to meet little Izzy love her deeply... and we love this family.  Please keep them in your prayers as they navigate through the following days and months.

In this most difficult time, any donation you feel led to give would be of tremendous help and greatly appreciated.

God gave me an angel,
A sweet, smiling baby girl.
He gave her to me...
10 little fingers, 10 tiny toes...all curled.

God gave me an angel
Whose smile could light the dark.
He gave her to me
To hold deep within my heart.

God gave me an angel
In the form of this perfect baby girl.
He gave her to me
To change my whole world.

God gave me an angel,
A special gift he gives very few.
He gave me an angel
To touch the lives of me and you.

God gave me an angel.
Though I could only keep her for a while,
He let me keep the memories
That will always make me smile.

God gave me an angel.
Her time was just for show.
He may have given me an angel,
But he never told me I'd have to let her go.

For the only problem with having an angel,
Is they're too perfect for this world
Once you've held a piece of Heaven
In the arms of your baby girl.

God gave me an angel,
This I know is true.
For my life can never be the same,
All because I met you...
