Expand Coco's Plex: Keep the Movies Coming

Hello, exclusive members of Coco's Plex Media Server!
If you’re reading this, you’re one of just 11 people in the entire world with access to this sacred vault of cinematic treasure — a hand-picked inner circle of close friends and family.
Coco’s Plex Server is home to over 8,700 movies and 270+ complete TV series — all at your fingertips, 24/7.
This Plex server isn’t just a hobby. It’s a labor of love, representing thousands of dollars in hardware, countless hours of setup, organizing, troubleshooting, and maintaining — and most importantly, it’s been built so that you never have to search for something good to watch. If you’ve ever thought, “I wonder if that’s on Plex?” — the answer is probably yes.
But now… we’re hitting the limit.
My current NAS setup uses three 12TB WD Red Pro drives and it’s 97.6% full — with just 500GB of space remaining out of 21.8 terabytes. Which means the era of “add it to Plex!” is officially on pause until I can expand.
That’s why I’m raising $330 for one more 12TB drive — to keep the stream of new and nostalgic media flowing for all of us to enjoy.
Every dollar goes directly to the new drive — no fluff, no filler, just more room for movies, TV, and nostalgia-packed gems you didn’t even know you missed.
If this server has ever saved a Friday night, turned a sick day into a movie marathon, or surprised you with something rare and wonderful — I hope you’ll consider chipping in. With just 11 of us using it, every dollar really does count, and no contribution is too small.
What’s It Worth?
Here’s what the “Big 5” streaming services would cost you per month:
Netflix (Standard with ads) – $6.99
Hulu (No Ads) – $17.99
Disney+ – $13.99
HBO Max (Ad-Free) – $15.99
Paramount+ with Showtime – $11.99
Total: $66/month
Annual Total: $792
That’s nearly $800/year — and still won’t get you everything that’s already on Plex.
So if you’re able to pitch in — thank you.
And if not, no worries — the server will keep spinning as long as the drives do.
Thanks again for being part of this little passion project.
Now go find something awesome to watch.
