Flooding in Southern Brazil

Hello everyone!

This is Laura - I'm Brazilian, native to the state of Rio Grande do Sul, and currently live in Connecticut. I’m seeking help from you all today because my home state is facing the largest climate disaster in its history. Four days of non-stop deluge have caused 215 towns to be completely flooded. More severe rain is expected in the next few days, so the damage is far from over.

At least 100 people in Rio Grande do Sul have died already due to these hazardous conditions, and more than 500 are missing. However, the number of people who have lost everything in their possession are uncountable.

We desperately need to help the people of my beautiful state, as well as the helpless animals involved in this ongoing tragedy! This is why I'm humbly asking for your donations and support. All the money raised is going to a variety of non-profit organizations, that will provide food, water, and basic needs for those affected.
