Support Ken's Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer

They say having a brother is like having a best friend wrapped up in child memories. The 1st memory I have is with him. He was my 1st best friend. The 1st one I laughed with. The 1st one I got in trouble with.
As most people are aware I don't do sociaI media but drastic times call for drastic measures.
Less than 45 days ago I called him just to confirm he was coming to my son's graduation party. That is when he told me he wasn't feeling well but he would be there. He told me that if he wasn't feeling better he would go see a doctor. But reassured me he would be there. Unfortunately Ken did not make it to the party.Ken ended up going to the doctor and found out that he has stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to his lungs. For a man who quit smoking 10 years ago and was perfectly healthy this was a great shock to all of us. Ken is 47 years old and like most of people our age he never thought it would happen to him and still had time to plan for his future. Never imaging his future would look like this. Spending the last 40 days 21 days in the hospital. Two trips to the emergency room, one emergency surgery. Meetings with all different types of doctors. Ken found out that he will start chemo for the next 3 months. With hopes that it will make the cancer small enough to have it surgically removed. Anyone who has been through this process knows that it is continous doctors appointments. The highs and the lows that come from this awful diagnosis. Ken has a strong work ethic and never asks for help. In fact I am sure that if it wasn't for this life changing diagnosis he would kill me for spreading his business. So I am spreading his business and asking for help for him. Please donate to Ken to help him work hard to fight this battle as long as he can. Ken has learned quickly to just take it one day at a time. He knows there are going to be good days and then there are going to be bad days. If you are unable to financially contribute if you could just send some encouraging words to help him get through the bad ones. Anyone who knows and adores this man as much as I do. Will understand our humor when I say please donate and "Don't let cancer kill Kenny"
