Hi everyone! My name is William Rawlings, and I am so excited to be fundraising for two incredible charities: EVLovesNYC and Seed Savers Exchange. I am an avid outdoorsman, biker, and environmentalist and am so excited to participate in RAGBRAI, a 500+ mile ride across the entirety of Iowa, in July. As part of my participation, I would like to raise awareness about an issue close to my heart: food insecurity and sustainability. The two amazing charities I am fundraising for tackle this issue from two different lenses: accessibility. EVLovesNYC, based in my hometown of NYC, helps provide free meals to those in need and has provided over 30,000+ meals since its inception. I cannot speak highly enough of these wonderful individuals! Seed Savers Exchange, based out of Iowa, is leading the charge in preserving our collective biodiversity by collecting heirloom seeds for future use. Seed Savers Exchange also runs the largest seed exchange in the world and connects farmers and gardeners with sustainable heirloom seeds! This non-profit is protecting our future and I cannot be prouder to be raising awareness for them.

My company, PearlX, has already generously pledged $2500 and I am aiming to reach $4000 in total donations before July 21st! - every cent will be going toward these two nonprofits!

If $500 ($3000 total) is raised, I will buzz my head/bleach my hair a color, determined by the largest donor, before the ride!

If $1000 ($4000 total) is raised, I will ride one of the days in a banana suit

If $2000 ($5000 total) is raised, I will get a tattoo of one of the plants from the Seed Saver Exchange catalog (determined in consultation with the largest donor)
