Eve's volunteer trip to Kumasi, Ghana
Donation protected
Hi! I’m Eve and I am headed to Kumasi, Ghana in November this year for three weeks as a Childcare Volunteer. The children’s homes and schools are basic, under-resourced and in need of volunteer’s assistance, with limited staff resources, it is the individual attention that the local Kumasi children crave so much.
The whole program will cost me £1500!!
I would greatly appreciate any donations towards my trip with the program to enable me to help those I can!
Resources are limited, therefore, if you would like to donate pencils, pencil sharpeners, rulers, rubbers and chalk for me to take with me let me know. They don't recommend taking sweets as the children don't have access to the appropriate healthcare, but shared resources such as a football would also be adored by the children.
Ghana has a large number of children who find themselves in government care, while
some are orphaned, others arrive from abusive homes and others are taken into care as their parents cannot afford to look after them. I will be spending my three weeks volunteering in the school with children ages 2-10 and I hope your generosity will enable me to do so :)
Thank you for taking the time to read and donate.
