Hello, my name is Eve and I have decided to do a fundraiser to help with the prevention of suicide and to spread awareness. All the money raised will go straight to pieta house. Pieta house is a life saving service that helps prevent suicide, promotes positive mental health and supports those who have lost people to suicide.

This is a special cause and really means a lot to me as two years ago my wonderful cousin died at just age 17, It would have been their 20th birthday this week.

In honour of them being forever 17 and as I am now also 17 I wanted to do something significant in memory of my cousin and other young people who have lost their lives to suicide. I am challenging myself to build up from no running experience to running 17km and I am hoping to do the run around their anniversary in early September.
