Hi, my name is Raven, and I’m Eve’s mom. Asking for help is never easy, but right now my daughter’s health and future mean everything to me, and I can’t do this alone. Her father is disabled and he cannot work, he can’t help financially but he’s there for her. Her family is so worried about her. Her brother misses her.

My daughter Eve is currently in long-term behavioral health care after a sudden and difficult mental health crisis. What started as a normal weekend with family turned into an emergency when Eve became unsafe to herself and needed immediate help. She has since been transferred out of state to receive the specialized care she needs—care that isn’t available where we live.

While I am grateful that Eve is safe and receiving treatment from a dedicated team of professionals, the costs are overwhelming. Insurance only covers so much, and the co-pays, travel expenses, and ongoing bills are piling up quickly. Between working full-time, managing our home, and trying to stay strong for both Eve and her brother, I am struggling to keep up.

This is not something any parent can ever prepare for, but I am doing everything I can to make sure Eve has the support she deserves.

The funds raised here will go directly toward:

• Medical co-pays and treatment costs; two copays for $1,000 for each clinic and this doesn’t include the daily cost to stay long term.

• Travel expenses so I can visit Eve during her stay

• Household needs while I balance work, parenting, and this unexpected financial strain.

Eve is strong and resilient—she’s already finding little joys like coloring and connecting with her care team. I believe with continued treatment, love, and support, she can heal and come back home stronger.
