  • Everything Lost in a Fire—Please Help my sister Noreenand her husband On September 2, 2025, my sister Noreen and her husband Lou’s lives changed forever when a fire destroyed their home. In just moments, everything Noreen and Lou worked for was gone. We are deeply grateful that they, along with their beloved dog Zac and their two cats, Othello and Negan, made it out safely. Still, their loss is overwhelming. Over the last two years, they poured their hearts into remodeling their house, making it a true home where they planned to spend their retirement. Now, they’re faced with the heartbreaking reality of starting over from scratch—without clothes, furniture, household essentials, or the comfort of the place they once called home.

The days since the fire have been a blur. The road ahead of them is long. Insurance will help in time, but there are so many immediate needs—temporary housing, clothing, and basic necessities—that can’t wait. Their pets are safe but shaken, and they’re doing their best to comfort them as they all adjust to this new reality.

We’re reaching out to our community for help as Noreen and Lou begin to rebuild. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and help them get through this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. Please share their story with anyone who may want to help. and her husband Lou’s lives changed forever when a fire destroyed their home.
