Everyn’s Journey

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am fundraising to help Magie with some financial costs for Everyn and her family. Around 20 weeks into Magie’s pregnancy, it was suspected that Everyn would be born with Edward’s Syndrome (Trisomy 18) along with heart defects. Magie chose hope, and decided Everyn was worth saving. Everyn has faced many obstacles along the way while having what's considered a lethal diagnosis, but she's defied the odds every single time. Currently, she is recovering in PICU from pneumonia, being treated for possible meningitis, and healing from kidney and liver failure. As soon as she's healthy enough, she will be sent off to Edmonton to get 1 of 2 heart surgeries needed for quality and quantity of life. Magie needs help paying for childcare for her other children while away, as well as meals and all the things that go along with being a medical momma stuck in a hospital. Any little bit helps!
