Sudbury is in a crisis, and the people keeping our most vulnerable alive are not government funded. They are not sitting behind desks. They are out in the cold every day feeding people, clothing people, handing out tents, socks, boots, food, and essential supplies to those who have nowhere else to go. These are the real Boots on the Ground. They are the ones preventing deaths, giving hope, and doing the work most people never see.
This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting them directly because without them people will not survive the winter.
To ensure full transparency, all funds will be facilitated through the Manitoulin Children’s Foundation, a third party organization.
Every donation raised will be converted into real and tangible items that immediately help people such as food, winter clothing, boots, tents, warming supplies, and emergency gear. For every purchase made, we will publicly provide receipts and updates showing exactly where the money went and which organization it supported.
Funds will be dispersed to true non government funded, community driven agencies such as
• SOS Sudbury
• Bizzzy Bea's
• Tomorrow’s Hope
• Sudbury Homeless FC Outreach
These organizations run almost entirely on donations and volunteer energy. They do not receive government cheques. They do not have budgets. They rely on the kindness of this community to keep people alive, and this winter they need our support more than ever.
This initiative is not political. It is human. It is community led.
Most importantly, the people of Sudbury will help decide where the money goes. Funds will be directed based on the needs identified by the public, the donors, and the frontline volunteers themselves, ensuring every dollar goes straight into the field where it is needed most.
Every penny is accounted for. Every purchase is transparent. Every donation directly supports the people doing the real work, the ones out there saving lives every single day.
Let us stand together and help the ones who have been helping us all along.
