Every Dollar Helps: Poor Families and Dogs in India & Nepal

Hi everyone! This is Tsering / Choden. I have decided to make this Gofundme page so that we can help raise funds for stray dogs and for the poor in Bodhgaya, India and Nepal. I am currently in BodhGaya, India and during my few days of stay here I have noticed many people and dogs who are in need of assistance.

Many of the people here in India (Bodhgaya) and Nepal sit on the sides of the streets, without any slippers, wear torn clothes, and beg for money or simply just ask for food. These people range from very young children to grandmas and grandpas.

In addition to people, there are a lot of stray dogs who need help as well. Many of these stray dogs are hungry and have several injuries on their body.

To keep it short and simple, during my next few days left here in Bodhgaya, India, I hope that I, along with those who intend on helping these people/dogs, can raise funds to provide care to the people (food, clothes, slippers, etc) and dogs (food, treatment, etc). I will use the funds accumulated on here towards this cause during my stay here in India. With the remaining funds, I will use it to help people and dogs when I reach Nepal.

Every dollar counts. Here in India, $1 is about 86 Rupees. In Nepal, $1 is about 138 Rupees. $1 can go such a long way in making such a difference. $1 is enough to help one person/dog!
