I'm reaching out to you to support Better Burma, a nonprofit organization launched immediately following the Myanmar military's violent seizure of power on February 1, 2021. BETTER BURMA Its mission is to provide temporary relief to impoverished and displaced individuals in Myanmar and the surrounding region, offering essential aid such as shelter, food, basic medical care, and elementary education.

Myanmar is living through one of the worst humanitarian disasters of our time. Since the military seized power on February 1, 2021, millions of civilians — including children, monks, ethnic minorities, and entire communities — have been displaced, cut off from food, clean water, and medical care. And in March 2025, a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Mandalay, destroying homes and crushing communities that were already barely surviving.
