EVERY CHILD DESERVES A SAFE PLACE TO SLEEP
Tax deductible
Please join me in making a difference! I'm raising money for children who call The Center for Children and Young Adults, Inc. (CCYA) "home," and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
BECAUSE EVERY CHILD DESERVES A SAFE PLACE TO SLEEP...AND HOPE!
It seems like the most fundamental things for a child…things we so frequently take for granted…a safe, warm place to sleep..three meals a day...a hot shower...clean clothes.
Imagine you’re a child (age 12-19), you’ve suffered abuse, neglect, abandonment, and/or exploitation. Your caregiver is UNAVAILABLE (deceased, incarcerated); UNABLE (homeless, suffer addiction and/or mental illness); UNSAFE (abusive, neglectful); or UNWILLING to care for you.
The Center for Children & Young Adults is “home” to more than 100 children each year. Some youth live at CCYA for a few weeks, others a few months, and many for several years. Children living at CCYA receive exemplary care by a professional staff, who work 24/7, to make sure each child is fed, clothed, counseled, in school, tutored and safe.
The children who live at CCYA need your help for their BASIC NEEDS; food, utilities and fuel for the old vehicles that take them to and from school, after school activities and even doctors appointments.
The total annual cost for CCYA shelter home utilities is $158,000 ($790,000 over the next 5 years):
Gas = $11,000
Electric = $46,000
Water = $19,000
